Okay Ive heard many times that you can still have your period when your pregnant.... Im just wondering how this occurs.. and if the period looks any differently or if You are pregnant and still have your period how will you know if your pregnant or not???
My wife had her period for the first four months of her pregnancy. She didn't know she was pregnant until the fifth month.
A period by definition is shedding of the uterine lining, so if you're pregnant, you definitely won't get a period. Some women do spot during pregnancy, but if you know you're pregnant and are having a heavy flow, go to the doc.
Gnerally during early pregnancy you getting 'spotting', a light bleeding. If you are fairly young and usually have a heavy period you should still notice it is way lighter. But an test is the easiest way to be sure. many of them work from 3 or even five days before your period is due.
Yes, women have been known to have periods during their pregnancies, however, it's not something super common. Any bleeding during a pregnancy needs to be evaluated. Many times during pregnancy, a woman can experience light spotting right around the time that their period was originally due, which in the beginning of pregnancy is actually the egg implanting itself in the uterus. I myself have been pregnant four times and never had any bleeding during my pregnancies except for my two miscarriages. I have three children, two of which are twins.
When I was pregnant I never had my period or spotted...but my friend who got pregnant shortly after I did, spotted for a bit...she went to her doctor and he said it was normal...however I never heard of it until recently.
