I'll agree with that. I like how you put it. Now, I don't know about that. Nahhhhh. Sorry dude, you two may look alike but I'll pick Jesus over you any day. Doesn't mean I wouldn't enjoy good food, good wine, good company and good conversation with you too though.
yeah? so? thats the way i was recently taught he was. before, i had no thought of the Savior, Jesus Christ. you know what? a libertine is a male prostitute. which Jesus was not. your theoy is well messaged, but not well grounded. not even all that well informed. read the Holy Bible, which is God's word expressed into words for His people. i think you'll find it is much more friendly to some of your ideas than you may think. i see a bright future for you, libertine, i see you have a chance to turn the lives of many around to face the light of God, asnd walk with Jesus. may God almighty bless you
Read the Bible? Ha ha... First of all, this thread was 1) a semi-joke, 2) a message presented that the "current" batch of "Christians" are not anything like Jesus is presented. Secondly, as a former Christian academic and seminary student trained in Christian philosophy and taught under Christian apologists from three different schools, I hardly think YOU are qualified to be ranting about my background. Obviously, you don't read the Forums here very much.
Wow thta's a great post. But why didn't Jesus make sense to his own discples? PLease check the bible verse after the resurrection when one of them says "Lord will you now restore the rule of Israel' or something like that. Why didn't he make himself more clear?
