Currently my favorites are Masters Of War, Tangled up in blue, and Hurricane. Dylan is too amazing and diverse to have one favorite song.

Has to be Idiot Wind - it's exorcised alot of my anger over the years in crazy relationships.Nick Cave (Above) is great too - 'into my arms' is just beautiful.

Almost anything from "John Wesley Hardin".

What a breakthrough album - helped change rock's direction, or at least expanded it.:p

I agree that this is a very difficult question to answer, especially among bob-cessives!
Being one myself there is no way in hell I could pick just one!

By the way you only have a limited time to enter the Dylan pool...

I'll take one for every decade, to make it SOMEWHAT easier:

60's: The Times they are A-Changin' (this was really a lottery, I mean, all those CLASSICS to choose between! I took it because it was on the "Greatest hits" that got me to start listening to Dylan, and because the powerful lyrics)

70's: Tangled up in blue (because the song, by some reason, defines the word "summer" to me...)

80's: Man in the long black coat (don't really know WHY I like this song... it sounds dark and menacing...)

90's: Trying to get to heaven (sentimental and good. maybe this would play at my funeral?)

00's: High Water (sounds like a classic Dylan-song, took this even though Tweedle Dee & Tweedle Dum is a good example of what my brother calls "gangster blues", written by everyone's favourite songwriter).
