The times are a changin, Mr Tamborine Man, Slow Train Comin, She Belongs to Me, Subterranian Homesick Blues, Rainy Day Women (everyone must get _____), Chimes of Freedom, Blowin in the Wind, It ain't me, It's all over now Baby Blue, etc. That's alot, but I am a certified "Dylan Junkie".
Currently my favorites are Masters Of War, Tangled up in blue, and Hurricane. Dylan is too amazing and diverse to have one favorite song.
Has to be Idiot Wind - it's exorcised alot of my anger over the years in crazy relationships.Nick Cave (Above) is great too - 'into my arms' is just beautiful.
don't think twice, it's alright i shall be released the ballad of frankie lee & judas priest and i should stop now before i list like, fifty songs.

Almost anything from "John Wesley Hardin". What a breakthrough album - helped change rock's direction, or at least expanded it.
O dear, I shall try and stick to three, Subterranean homesick blues, Lay lady lay, Tangled up in blue. But then there's so many others as well...O its all so difficult!

Hey Woody Guthrie, I wrote you a song, But Don't think Twice, because the Girl of the North Country, is Just like a woman, and like a rolling stone. So the Times they are a changin, whatcha gonna do? I'd hate to be you on that dreadfull day.
I agree that this is a very difficult question to answer, especially among bob-cessives! Being one myself there is no way in hell I could pick just one! By the way you only have a limited time to enter the Dylan pool...
I'll take one for every decade, to make it SOMEWHAT easier: 60's: The Times they are A-Changin' (this was really a lottery, I mean, all those CLASSICS to choose between! I took it because it was on the "Greatest hits" that got me to start listening to Dylan, and because the powerful lyrics) 70's: Tangled up in blue (because the song, by some reason, defines the word "summer" to me...) 80's: Man in the long black coat (don't really know WHY I like this song... it sounds dark and menacing...) 90's: Trying to get to heaven (sentimental and good. maybe this would play at my funeral?) 00's: High Water (sounds like a classic Dylan-song, took this even though Tweedle Dee & Tweedle Dum is a good example of what my brother calls "gangster blues", written by everyone's favourite songwriter).
A hard rains a gonna fall (I occasionally weep when I hear this song if the mood strikes me right or if I am high enough)
