dude, they tell you to call back for another appointment in 6 months. soyou can go right away, to find out if it actually is AIDS, or HIV virus or whatever. i took health last year, man, i remember going over this.

She told me that HIV is carried in EVERY bodily fluid of an infected person, but to varying degrees. In most cases though, the content in saliva is so minimal that you would have to literally drink a gallon of infected saliva to truely be at risk.

The odds of getting AIDS (assuming you don't sleep with anybody in the gay community (or fag hags), IV drug users, prosititutes or anybody that uses prostitutes, or anybody returning from South East Asia/Africa) are really low.
