Some friends of mine smoke mugwort as a substitute for weed. I was wondering if it will show up on a urine test as a drug. Does anyone here know?
As compared to weed, I don't know. They don't use weed, hence the substitution. By itself, let's just say they feel the power of the Force. It's fairly cheap, too. $1.75 for a big bag. As far as I know, it's legal.
hmmm well I was bored and did some checking, erowid says it's un-scheduled (legal). It's a relative of wormood and seems to have similar effects. so in order for it to show up on a urine test they would have to be testing for thujone analogs, and I can't think of any reason why they would include that on a drug test. Absynth isn't really illegal in the US it's just banned from sale by the ATF as I understand it. any way heres the link http://www.erowid.org/herbs/mugwort/mugwort.shtml
Who cares if it shoes up on a drug test, several sites have comments reguarding its medical uses when used as a type of herbal tea. My guess is that used as a tea, or smoked it would show up in a similar manner, most likely providing no more problems than any other herbal tea. i am also curious as to your expiriences with it.
you know I don't now about the states but in Canada you can buy a basic drug test kit over the counter. so you can always test yourself
Yeah you can buy drug tests in the US here over the counter. I live in the bible belt so they have them for the parents that want to strangle their children's lives. "Sorry, I can't try that . . . my parents might test me when I get home." This statement was printed on the one I bought today along with the website www.notmykid.org. My friend and I had a good laugh at that one.
