I was passed by DMV as being able to drive. So now I have the problem of insurance, I need to get it. And the problem is, if they see my vision is less then good, they might not insure me. So can I just not tell them? Is that legal to do? Can they do some kind of background check to find out? Would they do it?
Well, if the DMV says you can drive in your condition, they should cover you. There might be some restrictions or a bit of an increase in your rate.... I don't know.
cool. I just need to know if I can be safe from them finding out. fi I were to get into an accident I would be fine with them checking, then. but until then...
You really should be honest about even that. They will probably still insure you, but if you get into an accident and they find that out and you didnt tell them, there is a chance that they can deny you coverage. So you might as well just tell 'em.
they didnt ask me anything about vision, just took down all my cars info and got my liscens number..........
