I like: 'The Birdman Of Alcatrash' & 'Hummin' Happy'.
I think that the S-A-C. were a band as equal as JeffersonAirplane?Doors/GratefulDead etc. in terms of musical brilliance & opulence.

OK. A bit like Freddie & The Dreamers were equal to The Beatles?

Freddie & the Dreamers had an absolutely massive string of hits in America, including a number one.

The Strawberry Alarm Clock were good enough to be playing gigs with The Jimi Hendrix Experience in June 1967.

yep pure truth... religions let imagine his members about the whole mistery of god ,human kind and universal love...but ... but with a sugar cube it's much easier to imagine god ...he can even take form and you can ride with him into the tunnel of love... but beyond a stone the risk is waitin' with red eyes & his 2 horns...he can take the control of your apocalyptic train for a journey to the center of the magma...

Yes, it is the same Ed King.

The SAC is so good, if you really listen them. They are simple, yet complicated. Artsy, yet catchy. Groovy, yet pop. Underground, yet had a commercial quality and appeal.

I love them. They are in my Top 10 favorite bands of all-time.

Yeah, they are a good band. A little lighter and mellower than Floyd, but still good. I like that song "Time With The Guru".

    Born To Wander
    Rare Earth

There's nothin' you can do girl,
    There's nothin' you can say.
You're talkin' to the sky girl,
I just got to get away.
Got to hear the wind song
    Singin' in my ear.
Got to get it on girl
And I'll never make it here.

'Cos the wind was my mother,
    The highway is my brother.
    I was born to wander,
And it's time for movin' on.
    I was born to wander,
Turn around and I'll be gone, gone, gone.

I'm just followin' my heart girl,
    And it's followin' the sun.
    Lookin' for an answer
    I know may never come,
But I gotta chase my dreams girl,
Like a river to the sea,
    Got to find a rainbow,
    That's waitin' there for me.

'Cos the wind was my mother,
    The highway is my brother.
    I was born to wander,
And it's time for movin' on.
    I was born to wander,
Turn around and I'll be gone, gone, gone.
