I may be alone on this one.. but every once in a while I will spoil myself and get SUPER blazed, then just sit in my room with all the lights off, making sure it's completely dark... turn on some music and just sit there. It's weird but it's actually kind of fun. I can feel shit I've never felt before. Anyone ever do this??
yeah, I do sometimes. You're right, the things you feel when just paying attention to your body and mind is amazing. To think that thumping, grumbling, gurgling mass of animal substance is you! A living body! Very intense.
Somethimes i`m doing exactly the same thing man,somethimes i feel like i see myself...like i`m out of my body and i`m seeing myself u know..it`strange.It`s like i`m not myself and im looking at myself...i don`t know it`s hard to explain.Somethimes this happens to me,not very ofthen but it happens.
Dude (or dudette), that's why people get high. It's not weird at all. In fact, aside from sex, the highlight of my evening is to get baked and groove out to some tasty tunes. It's better in the dark, you have less things to distract you from the music. Here's a minor amusement next time you're high and dark and listening to music: pick an instrument (like say the bass guitar), listen to it/follow it through the entire song.

Nope, I do the same exact thing except I have a black light on, and a bunch of blacklight posters, and those glow in the dark stars ALL over the wall opposite of the blacklight so its way way way intense, especially with Pink Floyd playing... its great, I do that practicly every night.
Yeah i know exactly what you mean. it feels like your like the headmaster of your soul and your looking at your body and what you do...1 time that happend to me and it was so fucking cool so the next time i did it again and i wrote a whole bunch of wise things for myself that i should do when im sober like hpw I should act and to not give up at things and all that shit, like that other side of me was showing me the good and bad things...it was wierd but yet every cool
I like getting extremely high, and drunk, then lying on my bed in complete darkness to Pink Floyd. The music kind of "picks me up" and sends me on a journey to a foreign land. I remember back in the early days, when I first started smoking, I listened to "Truckin'" by the Dead, and instantly picked up on Jerry's chords. As I listened to it, I almost felt like I knew exactly what string he was plucking and thought as though I could play it myself.
Its not weird man, I do the same thing, turn on my lava lamp, some great tunes, and drift into deep meditation.
when i toke with other poeple, i ususally just waste time and talk, or if im with some musicians, maybe organise a little jam. but alone, i put on the blacklight and watch concert footage. pretty neat... Dance parties are pretty envigorating as well, gather some folks and put on some dead and dance.
when i have the time, i smoke a bowl and take a candle lit bath listening to music, its like my personal mello out time, other than most of the day.
Can't wait to do just that after finals are over.. just gotta wait till Thursday, I can't screw this up..I could get straight A's and have a fuckin 4.7 GPA. Ridiculous.
I do that with bass drums in metal music. They sound so cool. It's awesome when you do that with head phones cuz it feels like they're pounding into your head.
