Anyone here going to String Cheese Incident in Milwaukee? It's gonna be killer. Too bad it's not an outdoor show though.
Come on someone's gotta be going. I'm going to the Iowa show too. It'll be something to look forward to after seeing The Dead.
i will be there! i love my cheese..... it does suck that its not an outdoor show....but it will be the first time i've seen them in an indoor venue.....
Oooo....now I'm going to see if I can swing both the Cedar Rapids and Milwaukee show...... got to have my cheese.....
Yeah you should go to both. They aren't too far apart from each other distance wise. I think they're both indoor shows which sucks because early August is the best time for outdoor shows. Oh well I love the band too much to care. Their set at Bonnaroo was phenominal I thought. I wonder if tix went on sale yet. Too lazy to check right at this moment...
they were really good at bonnaroo....i'm glad i ditched out on bob dylan so i could see their whole set..... i really like the redhotchili peppers cover that they did....they always surprise me with their choices of covers.....
I wish I could get excited about cheese like I did 5 years ago. When I saw them in Amsterdam this spring it was such a dissappointment to see Billy with an electric guitar in his hand. I still have a good time when I see them, I just don't search them out like I used to - not to sound like a crotchety old man - I just enjoyed their music more when it was more bluegrass centered as opposed to the 'house' it kinda has developed into over the past three or four years. Yet, I really enjoy 'house' jam type music from other bands like Sound Tribe Sector 9. ok, enjoy the shows, I'll shut up now
Yeah I saw the first three songs of Dlyan then I left to catch ALL of SCI. Of course Dlyan had to be fashionably late. I love Dylan (especially his lyrics) but come on just start on time! Yeah that Chilipeppers cover was great but my ultimate hightlight was Texas... "Me and my friends went to dixieland Drove a big RV, with a cabinet full of mushrooms and a cooler full of beer..."
yeah i ditched out on dylan at the roo too. too many of his no songs, i wanted to hear the classics!!!! cheese was awesome at broo, texas was sweet, as well as sirens. see yall in milwaukee!!!
Wow I would love to go!! Just got to see them at 10,000 Lakes Fest in Minnesota. Too short a show, whatta tease! But got to see some "Disco Cheese" they ended with a cover of "Make a little love... get down tonight" it was too awesome! peace - Kali
Yeah man, I'm from Milwaukee, and the show was sick... Can anyone provide a set list or somewhere where I could find one for that show? Peace, Chazz my site: http://nodeal00.tripod.com
