whose version is better???

my brother and I are having this heated discussion over whose version of hallelujah is better......... IM going with leonard cohen's and he is going with jeff buckley's

what do you think???

 

Jeff Buckley's by far, his voice suits the song perfectly.

i love both versions, but if i could only listen to one of them, it would be jeff's. i feel everything he sings - its perfect.

I still prefer Jeff Buckleys version...tho I do skip it half the time when i'm listening to Grace

 

I'm a huge Jeff Buckley fan, but I'd have to say that Cohen's is much better. Gotta love the original.

They're totally different. But both are light years better than the Rufus Wainwright version, which is crap!

My vote has to go to Jeff Buckley.....I'm a huge fan of his anyways, and I think he did a real kick ass job on that song. Like mentioned above, his voice just fits that song.
