I just got done reading a great book and I highly recommend it to people who like Tom Stoppard..I checked it out from the library but I'm pretty sure its Stoppards work. It was called Six characters looking for an author. It is so crazy. If ya like Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are dead you'd love this. anybody else read these or like Stoppard or can recommend any more of his books or plays to me?
yeah yeahgreat read i remember it. Perinello breaking down the conventions of dramatic art or something like that...read it in school about 10 yrs ago. I usually dig most stuff from him and I think besides Rozencrantz and G I like Jumpers--great psychodelicish comedy in typical Stoppard humor...never caught it on stage but the read is quite good!
You might be talking about Waiting for Godot by Samuel Beckett. That's incredible, too. But Stoppard had some great stuff . . . I really like After Magritte.
