Let It Be "And when the broken-hearted people living in the world agree, There will be an awnser, Let It Be"
I would pick a Lennon song when he was in one of his dark, cynical, mysterious & blue kind of moods. Either: 'Sexy Sadie' or 'The Continuing Story Of Bungalow Bill' . These songs don't sound anything like anything in the world of 1960s pop music. They are mesmerizing & very offbeat & unusual as 'Beatle' songs.
wahhaa...My favorite as well! My friends make fun of me for it though. second would probally be "Mean Mr. Mustard" or anything on the latter part of Abbey Road
Sexy Sadie or You Never Give Me Your Money. its so hard to choose, everything they did from rubber soul on was great
Hey that's brilliant choice:'A Day In the Life'. By the way-two people have agreed with my choice. I'm chuffed because I've heard nearly every Beatle song, even bootleg recordings of songs that were never released.I thought really carefully about what to choose.
A Day in the Life, Glass Onion, Ticket to Ride, Help, Paperback Writer, Little Help from my Friends, Back in the USSR, While My Guitar Gently Weeps Too many to choose from
Indeed, "In My Life" manages to touch me again and again. Although my personal favourite would be "Let It Be"; it's the first song I've ever preformed live.
