the wife got some ibprofin 600 mg (40 total) tablets..... any fun or not worth it? if fun, any ideas on how should i use them? tried searching but found nothing. thanks in advance for your help.
Nah, no recreational value to speak of. They used to give us the 800mg tablets in the army, and I ate two of them and felt sick. A single tablet is great for pain, but not fun in the least.
LMAO...Ibuprofin 600mg or 800mg is no more than over the counter Advil 200mg Tablet's x3 or x4 only in one pill form. It is in one 800mg dose tablet of ibuprofin less than that of taking like 5 Advil's.
Man...you guys are being dicks. The dude was just looking for some help, you didn't have to be assholes about it.
dude he thought ibuprofin would get him off.........if u feel sympathy for someone who wants to get high so bad that he thinks maybe ibuprofin might do it ....u sir are the one who's coming off as an asshole
ok ibuprofen aint worth it, enuf makesyou stomach bleed, n i horrible horriblebody buzz and ear ringing, but im real sensitive to chemicals anyway
Actually, that's wrong. Ibuprofin is the name of the dug (which everyone seems to pronounce incorrectly - there's a "u" in there for a reason. IbUprofin.) Motrin contains Ibuprofin - motrin is a fever reducer/pain reliever; the Ibuprofin handles the pain reliever part. BTW, i just took 1000mg for a back ache, I have taken around 1200 with no effect (though that was due to a back injury playing lacrosse and I had been taking it every day). Not for recreactional use.
I bet he was confused because ibuprofen is a muscle relaxer, and people see 'relaxer' and assume there's a recreational value. Ibuprofen, however, is a sort of muscle relaxer that just eases PAINFUL tension, like pulled muscles that are trying to heal, or cramps, or whatever. It's also an anti-inflammatory for when things swell and push on other things (tendons, ligaments, other muscles, bones..), which is painful. That's it, though.. there's no recreational value in reducing cramps and inflammation.
aww you guys shouldn't be mean to him. jesus christ. don't be fucking snobs about it. he didn't know.
Actually, it is ibuprofen, which is the generic name of Advil, Motrin, and Nuprin. All three are identical. Ibuprofen is an analgesic at doses of 400 mg or less, and an anti-inflamatory at doses of 600 mg to 800 mg. Any of these doses will lower fever. Taking more than 800 mg every 8 hours is very harmful not only to your stomach, but also to your kidneys. A person of smaller stature may not be able to tolerate 800 mg. Over-the-counter ibuprofen, no matter the brand name, is 200 mg per tablet. You should never consume more than 4 in any 8 hour period. There is absolutely no recreational value.
how do people pronounce it without the U? ??QUOTE HAaha, i know. Ib-a-profen. HAaha it was on the t.v over in Australia, it has been proved to cause stomach ulcers in daily users. i wouldnt touch the shit... stick to paracetomol unless you got inflamation...
