I've been taking medications for quite a while. I have been having wild dreams, wild as in when I wake up I'm still in the dream. Many times during the week I will talk about something to a friend that I thought happened in real life but simply happened in my dreams. This has been happening for quite a long time. I think I've figured it out but I'm not positive. DON'T TAKE MEDICATIONS BEFORE YOU GO TO SLEEP. Tripping is sweet when its every now and then, but tripping just plain old sucks when every day you wake up your tripping.

Not sure if this relates to anybody o if it makes sense but its really starting to get to me... let me know what you think

I wonder what your taking. I'm sure this is most common with drugs that are SUPPOSED to affect your brain (antidepressants, antianxiety & sedatives, antiseizure drugs, painkillers, etc.).

Kinda funny though, the most disturbing dreams i've ever had (and they were most definately medication induced) were on doxycycline (an antibiotic). I've been on tons of antibiotics, and they were changed frequently to find on that was effective with minimal side affects, and when they changed it to that one...HELLO! THe stuff that horror movies are made of!

    WEIRD

I wasn't going to say the medication because I didn't think anybody else was on it but doxycicline is it! That is soo weird... I would have never expected the same thing to happen to someone else. I mean, the dreams are just sooo crazy... I wonder if anybody else has ever experienced that...

I once had meningitis (hope I spelled that somehwat correct), not the deadly one though, and they gave me these painkillers and tha same thing happened. But the worst thing was, once I woke up from the weird dreams, I would halucinate...so either way it wasn't good. I eventually told my doc I can't take them and he gave me something else.

I take oxycodone at night, and have crazy dreams while I'm asleep, too! Except I like it.
