Is there a kitchen or family in New Orleans? If there is, I'm thinking of going there, but I want to be sure.
the welcome home kitchen in new orleans is now closed, i've been told by family who were there yesterday. and some of that kitchen's family is now at second helping in bay st louis about a mile south of the new waveland cafe site in waveland. they are in need of volunteers. also just south of new orleans in st bernard parish there is the emergency communities kitchen that has alot of family from the new waveland cafe, but there are politics and heirarchy issues to deal with there, though they have settled down a bit. btw weren't you looking for your hunny who was supposed to be in the area?
yeah, I talked to him and I know he was in nola, but I'm still not sure...its hard trying to meet up, you know?
