No, I was just thinking out loud. And hoping this post might make some of them emerge from the woodwork. I'm generally a nostalgic person.

You must not know my story. I did that. Dropped out when I was 15 and got a job, started paying rent, etc. Then I decided to go back to school to get my diploma, so I went to an alternative school, picked up over 20 credits in about six or seven months, caught up with my class, and now I'm going to graduate in May and go to one of the following universities: Northwestern, Indiana, Missouri, New Mexico, or Columbia (though I doubt I'll get accepted there; Columbia is my stretch school).

But they aren't as good!

I won't really miss you. Don't take that personally, I just never really liked you.

I thought I'd step in say hello so you could all rest easier knowing that I'm alive and OK.

Plus I could never leave here for good without making at least 1,000 posts (at least since the grand reopening).

 

I post semi-regularly

about 1/37 as much as I used to. I'm just glad somebody finally had the nerve to admit that their life is meaningless without me. I know it must be hard for you all....being without me so much of the time, that is.

I'm sorry but..I gotta graduate so my free time is limited

why would anyone with a brilliant mind want to frequent these forums where rehash is a common theme?

folks get tired of typin the same things over an over..,,,an when yer focused on makin a diffrence,,typin the same shit over an over becomes mundane..

well, i missed looking at you, but i'm not sure if that's quite the same as missing you in particular. i think there would be a lovely philosophical discussion on the subject if i wasn't so terribly shallow.
