Alot of you probably already know this, but for those of you who don't, a product called "Gardenburger" is most certainly not vegan OR vegetarian, right there on the ingredients list "egg whites". Heh.......food for thought.

Food (and people) can still be considered vegetarian if eggs and dairy are used.

The original Gardenburger is not Vegan, but it is Vegetarian. All Gardenburger products are vegetarian. Gardenburger does produce many Vegan and nearly Vegan products in addition to their vegetarian offerings.

    Gardenburger Riblets are Vegan.
Gardenburger Meatloaf if Vegan (although it seems like you can only get that in TV dinner packaging now instead of in vacuum packed entree only packaging).
Gardenburger has a good Vegan Bocaburger type patty. They also make a Vegan version of the traditional Gardenburger.
Gardenburger makes awesome Vegan sausage patties.
Gardenburger's grilled chicken patty is also Vegan.
Gardenburger also makes a breaded chicken cutlet patty that is dairy and egg free. It does, however, contain honey.

There are probably other Vegan products as well, but I haven't checked the labels on all their products.

Yeah, I'd seen that. I have to read labels anyway, because of allergies.

I consider myself vegetarian, but do eat eggs in baked/cooked foods.

But I like Boca & Morningstar's "burgers" better anyway ;)

    love,

    mom
