hmmm, here I was thinking that mebbe bussing/training it over to TO and then flying from there might save me money, since a flight to Toronto is like 300ish.... but it's only about a $40 difference, which I'd spend on food for those two days of bus/train travel

I know I'm spoiled, and I want more than I probably deserve. But if I'm going to run off on a vacation, I would like to be able to enjoy what I'm doing, instead of worrying about my next meal, or how it is I'll get home.

good friends, being able to keep on learning, having a job that genuinely helps others, a job that I enjoy. Comforts... I like having a house in good repair, decent clothes to wear, my technological toys (though those aren't a requirement, they are lovely to have). Comfy bed, people around me who care about me, who make me laugh. Being able to afford the occasional indulgence (like wine, or a cd I want, or a really good book)

yeah, it sounds rather materialistic but I like having a comfortable place to rest

for travelling, well, able to eat at new places, see new things, and a comfy bed to return to and leave my things so I don't have to haul them everywhere with me if possible
