On Nov. 17th, 2005 I decided to hold a PEACEFUL protest against the War in Iraq and against Military Recruitment for 'National Youth and Student Day of Action'... After organizing for weeks, I got over 60 protesters to show up that snowy afternoon in front of the Recruiting Station in Oakland, Pittsburgh! Everything was going great, people brought signs, guitars, bongos, it was all beautiful... until the pigs came! I assumed there would be SOME run in the cops, because after all, it IS a protest, but I never expected this to happen... before I knew it the pigs has TASER GUNS!!!!!!!!! Taser Guns? For a peaceful protest... I myself did not get tasered, but several of my innocent friends did. Everybody who didn't run away was taken in that night, myself included, my Mother had to come down and get me out since I was a minor at the time, she herself being an old hippie she totally supports me and was outraged when she heard what happened! It is all just so negative! We weren't hurting anyone... we weren't going to hurt anyone... we don't ever want to hurt anyone... we want to spread love, why don't they say that!? :(

They try desperatly to hold on to there society that they arn't ready to let go of.All there money making and materialism runs there life and blinds them from the truth and enlightenment.

Things like this are just signs to show to the population whether or not they want to see it that something needs to change before the situation gets worse.

Try not to get discouraged by the ways of society if you stick it out and hold on to your ideals you'll be onboard for the ride when the revolution takes hold.
