Some friends and I decided to go out for Japanese food toight -- eight loud young adults in a crowded sushi bar. Nothing better, right? So anyway, there I am, enjoying my 5-course meal. I lift my head from my bowl of miso for just one quick breath, and at that moment I happen to see the guy I am MADLY FUCKING IN LOVE WITH walk in. My nerves were instantly shot to ribbons so much that I couldn't even enjoy the next course. He saw me. I pretended not to see him the entire evening. I don't know, but I was just too fucking shaky and nervous to approach him like I normally would/should. His best friend who was with him kept looking over at me the entire night, and occasionally I caught a glimpse of he himself looking over to my table. They were at the bar right by the door. I made sure to leave quickly and discreetly. Is this a sign? What should I do? My nerves are still shot... :'(
That's and interesting experience. And a coincidence. But I'm sorry, I'm confused. What are you asking? Is this a sign of what? Sorry if I'm not following. I know what kind of feelings you were experiencing. That has happened to me before where I was physically shaking because I was so nervous to be around him. Because of my nerves, I felt like I totally missed out on my chance to ever get to know him.
This guy and I used to date quite a long time ago, and he remained a very close friend for a long time after that. Then we sort of fell out of contact and haven't connected on the same level or frequencey ever since. My feelings for him never really went away, and I never felt the same for anyone else since. I'm not sure what this could be construed as a sign OF....but I believe in signs. This isn't even the first time something of this nature has happened, although it's the most blatant example of such freaky coincidences(?)
I think it was a sign but maybe your love for him has taken over all your emotions for getting to know someone else, and that why you haven't felt like that for anyone else. You said you guys kinda fell out of touch so the love is kinda in a linger, so maybe that was a sign that you need closure. Next time that happens you might what to try to talk to him and see where it goes. good luck!!

I think you may have made a mistake in not at least waving to him. If I were him I would feel like you do not even care to acknowledge me when the opposite is true. Maybe you should make an effort to see him again or call him or something. When you feel so strongly for someone the best thing you can do is tackle the situation head on. The worse that can happen is that they do not feel the same way about you. At least then you will have the situation in perspective and then you can move on. By the way you are quite good looking so its unlikely that he would have absolutly no interest unless he is heavily involved with someone. Anyway good luck with this guy. He must be quite a hunk!!...LOL
Well its a sign I think. But probably that he recognizes you. I dont'know if its a positive or a negative sign. But its a sign most likely.
