tokin up at madison square garden

Has anyone toked up in Madison Sqaure Garden for a concert or anything? Got Matisyahu and O.A.R. comin' up on the 14th and wanna know what i should do...

nah Id get one of those one hitters that look like cigarrets, PERFECT for those situations. I love mine.... you pack it up, hit it, stash it, and by the time anyone smells weed you would have it already put away. Plus it just looks like your lighting a square so its all good =)

 

Several times at Grateful Dead concerts 10+ years ago. No clue what the security is like these days, but back then it was pretty lax

 

I would just empty out the cigarette and fill it with weed and just smoke it like a butt and everything should be fine.

 

i gots me one of them cig one hitters too. invest in one, its worth it.

 

My recommendation would be to simply roll a few joints and place them, as if they were cigarettes, right in a pack of smokes. Bands/artists who peform at large venues, such as MSG, and are known for drawing crowds that indulge in drugs, will have security who will not go out of their way to bust people who want to get high. Especially considering the fact that you're catching an O.A.R. show. Generally, security at shows these days are designed to catch people who are attempting to carrying in weapons or alcohol from outside the venue. Security personnel are in place to, for the most part, "keep the peace," and in the case of people smoking marijuana, their job is basically done once the show begins, as nobody is going to start a fight while stoned . When the lights go out, and the band begins to jam, just take a look around and see who is near you. If security is nowhere in sight, take out whatever you have and have a ball! I bet you even before you decide to fire it up, you'll smell some wafting in the air or the person next to you will already be passing you a joint .

 

Yeah concerts are awesome places to toke. Back at slipknot in april the whole dome i was in was fuckin hotboxed.

 

I find it hard to beleive the whole dome was hotboxed.. but that would be fuckin awesome... I doubt the security guards would go out of there way.. but don't make it too obvious...

 

I guess ill be seein you at that concert

Madison Square Garden has been the site of some awesome parties.


Mayor Mike Bloomberg is a guy with a real hard-on for indoor tobacco smoking though. Do check it out. Come back and post, tell us how it was!

 

i saw OAR recently (november) and everyone was toking... it was a great time



it was indoor as well and the guards sort of turned their heads... at least the guards by us

 

I vote just smoke 'em.

 

Ive seen security check packs of smokes before
you should stash some joints in a pack of gum

 

maaan one time i had a tiny leetle piece of paper crumpled up in my back pocket and the security guy fureaked about it, while i had a gram in me shoe and a one hitter behind me ear... heh heh
