I am moving home to Canada on the 17th of January. Have spent the last couple days finishing up some projects and trying to get my yarn stash down to a packable quantity. Alas, looks like I am going to be leaving half my yarn behind for my hubby to bring up with him in May. Which am I sadder about: leaving the hubby or the yarn? Not sure right now... hahaha. Anywho, here are a couple projects I've finished. Buffy is all dressed for the winter chill in a blue recycled wool wrap, and a slouch-erific "autumnal verigated" yarn. Also finished that dragon tin (the lid needed to be redone after my cat put his ass in it before it was cooked). The lid is done, and it's been sprayed with a high gloss finish to keep it shiny and to fill up all the crevices that would collect dust (i hate it when "cut" things get dusts in the ridges!) just realized that the lid is upside down... hahahaha. So stand on your head when looking at it please! The character means happiness, not sure what it means upsidedown though!
Buffy looks great. and so does the dragon jar. Good luck on your move. May will come sooner than you think.
i love the hat...orange is one of my colors...but its gotta be the right orange. good luck with your move!
wow! both turned out great! you sound as bad as i am with yarn.....it's such an addiction. lol i hope that your move goes well for you and it looks like you won't be cold in good ol' Sask. with all of the yarn work you've been doing
thanks everyone! I really love the hat myself... Buffy, being 2 dimensional, doesn't really do it justice, but oh well. haha. I am really looking forward to being in the country of my Country again. Sidewalks and sunsets, Northern Lights and wildlife... ahhh... can't wait!
Buffy always looks so damn rockin. Seriously. Ooooh I'm so excited for yer baby. And uh.. Welcome home!! (when you get here. )
Buffy is like a giant paper doll.. I always have her dressed in cute outfits. My inlaws think I am crazy, but just write it off my saying "well... she IS canadian". lol. SuperM - ya want it? haha. Everyone needs a shawl to wear while standing on the cliffs of Dover, eh?
