looking around Monster.ca. Found a listing, in Saskatoon, for.... A Zamboni Operator!!! Talk about a dream job for Canadians everywhere! (now, Ihmurria, don't go stealing my dream.... you know you want the job too!!)
lol! I think it's too far away for me though, since I don't drive anywheres, I bus.... most of the arenas are in awkward spots to reach by bus for some reason
http://jobsearch.monster.ca/getjob....4&Logo=1&cy=CA&q=zamboni&lid=930&sort=rv&vw=b EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: • Previous experience in the operation of motorized, propane powered equipment (example: small forklifts) • Mechanical aptitude an asset. • Good communication skills. • Refrigeration certificate or Arena Attendant formal training an asset. • Basic Computer knowledge an asset. • 1 year previous training and operation of ice resurfacing equipment a must.
lol... sad thing is, I've actually driven one before! Small towns.. people let you do all sorts of stuff. It was an antique though, and this one is probably all computerized. Would be fun for a day or two though!
That explains a lot. They don't let just anybody drive the old tractors. You've either got to be able to build, gear down and build one up again in three seconds flat or have penii.
I was changing concaves with my father when I was 10, and fixing the treads from CATs when I was 11. For having a vagina, my penis is HUGE.
what if, instead of ataining these qualifications, I show them my spandex captain zamboni super hero costume, think they'll take me? I only ask because it seems in Ontario you're not allowed to liquer up and drive around during the games (WTF, thing only goes 10km/h) not even if you share the boos....that sort of thing is cool in Saskatchewan though right?
