This guy was a stray. I took him to the vet today, and he's healthy! No diseases, and he got his vaccinations. I'm calling him Toby. He's enjoying a nice nap on the couch.
Gorgeous! Ive not had a whole lot to do with cats but i still love them. He looks very happy and contented. I love to hear that there are others not just me who pick up and take care of strays, good on you.
he looks so comfy! im trying to adopt a stray that lives in my yard/porch area. ive been feeding her for 6 mths now (i think she was dumped here) but she refuses to come in the house! she will for a moment but then as soon as she sees someone or one of the dogs she freaks and leaves. but we are making progress as im able to touch her now for a moment where as 2 months ago she wouldnt even come near me. i may have to trap her because i think she could use some vet attention.
my 10 year old (misha) was a stray... she came to my house with a horrible injury, her hip and leg was teard up. i say she was about 1 year old... she was a bit scared at first... until we gave her some food. she wouldn't let us touch her or even get too close, so we had to throw peroxide at her. she got better quickly. still has no hair and a scar that reminds me how special she it... she's lost a couple of lives already, thats why she's a house cat now. but she keeps going, i think she went back in time and know acts like a kitten, always chasing the other two young ones. my 10 year old kitten. my year and a half year old (tashy) came from the trash, we were going to name her trashy but sounded a bit... well you know... we could hear i weak meow coming from a pretty deep trash can. looked inside and i see this tiny black wet and dirty sack of bones. poor thing. she must have been two months old. she scratched the hell out of my hand. she might have been in there for a couple of days cause she had garbage on her. my little black panther. i wish your new baby a healthy, long, happy life
