last year i was in an accident that resulted in the loss of most of the motor ability and sensation in my right forearm and hand. no more guitar, juggling, riding a bike, working out, throwing a frisbee, or using a knife. nerves are the slowest growing organs in the body, but it seems that mine are starting to come back! i can close my hand ever so slightly now. that sounds modest, but its pretty fucking huge, my mom even cried. my friends are freekin out. awesome. dont take it for granted that you are healthy!
congrats! My best friend's father suffered severe nerve damage from the knees down in a car accident. Gradually its coming back to him and its so great to see. Here's to further progress for you!
