I'm very content of being born in the 1970's, in 1979, and being as old as the 70's and having the Smashing Pumpkins have a song about the year I was born and I like the smashing pumpkins a lot. I'm as old as the 70's, and you people born in the 80's and 90's can eat your hearts out!!!!!! I'm more than content. 1979.

1979 isnt as old as the 70s, you made it in at the tail end of the decade. how are you any different than someone who was born in 1980?

I wonder if the original confusion came from Eric pioneering the Les Paul/Marshall sound, rather than "inventing" blues/rock...

I'm as old as the 1970's and I always will be. I'm very content of being born in 1979. The peoplle born in the 1980's are jealous and they can go eat their hearts out! And I'm gonna wear bell-bottoms until I die, so if you people have a problem with my style you can go smell your own shit!!!

if your saying that people wear whatever people wore in the decade they were born in then god you have a problem. i wear flares and i have no problem with your style, infact no1 does and i dont think anyone else cares what decad ethey wer eborn in either. can i just ask are you really being serious about this? because its just so bad it sounds sarcastic

But someone needs to lay off the acid, its making u crazy
if you think that because u were born in a era means that u lived in it ur wrong
since i was born in 89 i dont say
HEY I LOVE THE 80's Im AN EXPERT
so just chill out and listen to layla a couple more times just to calm down

I just listened to "Promises" for the first time since I was a kid...great song. He is so unique. Lyrics, guitar, voice....he has it all.
