You keep written records of you selling weed?
Why would you want to do that, are you retarded?

If you sell on any kind of scale, it's actually not "simple" math that can be done in your head. There are obvious benefits to tracking it, and obviously one huge drawback: evidence. Why help the cops with their job of nailing you to the wall if you ever get busted?

That being said, it's just smart business sense to know what's coming in, what's going out, and how much you had to put in for what's going out, make sense? I'm sure many growers/dealers keep very detailed logs of not just what they sell, but supplies/cost they incur. The more code you can use the better, but if you're tracking enough stuff there's no way you can disguise what it is. At the least do NOT put down anyone's full name or even full initials if you can help it.

Somebody as young as you has no experience selling or ya would not of asked such a stupid question, and yes it is simple math for most, return on a investment, nothing difficult there.I have been around the game for 20+ years so there is absolutely nothing difficult about it except thart perhaps you outtsa quit smokin your product and brush up on your math skills.

Dont put down names....make up a decent "code"............dont be obvious.....dont be dumb.....conduct yourself as a business man not a young punk wannabe. Think smart - drive safe.....have a nice day.
Of course there is no chance of getting caught if you don't sell to begin with.

I guess I'm not sure if that was targeted at me or orignal poster, but...
Quick, how much have you spent on weed in the last 20+ years?
If you've sold, how much profit have you made?
If you've grown and sold, how did your grows meet the selling schedule, and hence the demand (assuming demand wasn't limitless)?
But I thought it was so easy to keep this all in your head?

And the statement that no useful information can be deduced from tracking is just assinine. My entire weed-related life, and aspects of my personal finances, was conducted with the knowledge tracking gave me.

I'm the type of person who knows where every one of his dollars goes, so yeah, I'm the type to keep a log. Someone who doesn't look at their check register or bank account until they get hit with an overdraft fee would be the kind of person who doesn't. I'm just very detail-oriented when it comes to finances. Doesn't make me "dumb", as I've never put myself in a position to get caught. Hell, never even posted anything like this until now, and that's just because I'm out of the game now.

No offense taken or meant here.

it helps alot to know how much your going to make. i dont give a shit about getting caught, im not stupid about it and this is a maxtor hard drive anyways, my other one doesnt even work. of course i dont write down names, just numbers and coded initials if needed.

whoever called me a punk wannabe is just judging me. i listen to alot of music.

I'll say, keep it written down if you want to, sounds like a good idea to me so you know where your money goes, but it would give police evidance if you get busted, if it was me, I would weigh out the pro's and con's. Also if it was me, I would have it written of random pieces of paper not in a book incase you got busted then a scrap of paper with like "P.B-$20" doesnt mean much.....

True Story, a friend just got busted like 2 weeks ago, they raided his house, found shitloads of Paraph., almost 3oz's and a notebook he'd kept first names, last initials and what they owed/paid him so far. Needless to say, cops just looked at the school attendance list and nailed 5/6 kids within the past 2 weeks. So a note to buyers, DON'T CHARGE!

I had decided before I read this thread to keep track of how much I bought, but just a gram amount and a dollar amount, to see how much weed/money I burn in however long I keep it.

don't that is a bad idea may i suggest that you get out of the selling game it's not the safest

i have much experiance with dealing almost all my friend are dealers i've picked up shipments of +5 lbs it is dangerous. i suggest that you wait till you own you own home to sell.

I did know a dealer that was so paranoid he wouldnt let ppl tell him what they wanted, they had to write it down on paper..found a better, non-paranoid, dealer since then and never went back, lol
