I applied for an internship at Koinonia (an intentional community in Americus, Georgia) and I just received notice that I have been approved to intern from june through august. I will get room and board and possibly a 15 dollar per week stipend. Now I just have to get money for gas to drive down there and back up...but i only live like 5 hours from there.....it should be cool, they do a lot of organic farming and what not and also own habitat for humanity. I am looking forward to living in a community like this.

well as far as I can tell I will be doing a lot of farming and they say I may do some office work and cleaning and grounds maintenance. They also said to bring my guitar and things like that that I know how to do. they have like 537 acres of pecan orchards and vegetables.

Congrats Brandon! What an exciting opportunity... I wish I would have done something like that when I was younger.
