show thanks to the mother and all she is? Im so thankful for this earth and I try to give back to her and respect her. Some ways I do this is by growing a garden, composting, recycling, and rubbing my feet in the glorious mud. What do you do to express your thankfullness and love to the Earth herself?
I listen celtgrrl complain about the size of our house because an addition would mean taking down a tree. Seriously, I recycle everything I can and I don't work new construction jobs anymore. Cutting and clearing makes me sad. And I don't rake the leaves in the fall because they are supposed to rot back into the earth, not be raked and hauled away.
I tell her so Try to recycle wherever possible, help keep the garden up together, take not to damage the earth. Also go barefoot a lot.
I live each day in reverence and honor for the Divine Feminine, in everything I do. I have taken dedication to serve the Divine Feminine with my everything, sacrificing myself to Her fully. And to celebrate that, I worship my wife with the love and compassion that the Divine Masculine demands of me.
Plant as many seeds as I can find, try my best not to harm nature, and spend a lot of time in the forest meditating and tree hugging.
i love the earth's physicality. i dig my toes in the mud, touch the trees, stroke the plants. i wade in the ocean and am in awe of it. i breathe the caves. i enjoy the flow of streams. i admire things which are made from nature and are handmade, like pottery and sculpture, handmade woven baskets. i revel in nature's beauty--the sun and the moon, the mountains, animals, all of it! and i amazed at how we are all linked together, our very chemicals, how we are syched to the tides. gaia is astounding.
I find the best way, to the Mothers Heart, is through loving All Her Children... excepting none. Feet on the ground, grateful for time to grow. Kindness to all, embracing my lover as a manifestion of Gaia. Peace & Bright Blessings to All.
We visited aincent Celtic sites while on vacation. This is the "Stone of Destiny" om the hill of Tara, County Meath Irelend. The seat of aincent high kings. Can anyone guess what the stone represents ?
The aincent Celts believed that spirits or gods lived in certain sacred places, a glen in the forest, a spring, a pool of water. Certain stones. Its nice to get out in nature and pay homage to these ideals. There is simething magic about falling water.
Since everything the mother has made is unique, I celebrate her being by trying to be wholly and truly myself. Her unique child.
i'm a bit of an ecofreak so i'm constantly composting, recycling... I grow seeds and hand out plants for ostara and earth day to friends and neighbors... just makes the world a bit greener.
