    Hmmmm....tough one....I'd say Ronnie Hawkins with The Hawk (later The Band) or Bob Dylan when The Band backed them....or Brian Wilson for songwriting credits, not as much for performing

    Male: Michael Monroe of Hanoi Rocks- can play anything, is a great singer and has tons of charisma.

    Female: Joan Jett- the female Johnny Thunders, Joan understands rock-n-roll and where it came from. She could play a cowbarn in the middle of nowhere for FREE and rock the house down. I saw her do it 18 years ago.
