hey, this is my first post here and i was wondering if anyone could help me out. i'm sewing some padded stash/bowl bags but i'm having trouble with finishing the hem on the top because of how small the bags are.
if anyone has any tips for sewing tiny stuff please let me know!! thanks

I also just started sewing those types of bags. I try to use not as thick material. I used fleece and it turned out hideous. I like to make just like a 12x12 pactchwork and then sew one side together, and then the adjacent one and just use a drawstring. Sounds confusing but hope you understand it. Good luck! Once you get one to turn out... it'll be worth it

do the drawstring/top lip of the bag first. then actually sew the bag together to make it round, dont wait till its done to sew down the seam

You could leave the bottom of the inside lining open. Then open the bag out to sew the top seam. After you turn the bag right side out, you can slip stitch the opening in the bottom of the bag. Hope this makes sense. I can see it in my head, but can't find the right words so you can understand what I'm saying.
