WOW. I just got The Wall and I have watched it several times. WOW. I love this movie. There is basically no narrative yet it has a great story. Has anyone else seen it, what do you think of it?

    "Has anyone seen it?" ?!?!

You haven't lived until you've seen it!

It's a classic's classic, man! Those guys were geniuses!

And Rog is still making cool stuff... Well, actually, now that you mention it, the "recent cool stuff" that I'm thinking about came out in *cough* *choke* 1992! (To me, "Amused To Death" is still the "new album"!)

I saw Rog play twice in the last few years, once in NY and once in FL. I actually flew up special to see the NY show!! How whacked is that?!

    Blue skies,
    -Jeffrey

What's sick is thinking that a picture like that is gonna do anything to further the cause of intelligent political discourse. Nice going. I'm sure the votes of such articulate individuals are wellll worth counting...

Yeah, the wall is great! It's typical Roger Waters, full of amazing, surreal symbolism and powerful lyrics. Some of the music in it isn't Floyd's best, but on the other hand some of the music is excellent, like "Hey You" or "Young Lust".

I think the story was heavily based both on Syd Barrett's drug induced disintegration and a hatred towards facsists and Nazis most probably inspired by the death or Roger's dad during the war.

    All in all, bloody brilliant.

It is a very artistic and exciting movie to watch. It is also sad at the same time.

I remember that the first time I watched it (of many) was in my parents' den, on VHS, in the late '80s, with my parents! :p How's that for weird?!

    Blue skies,
