I'm detoxing away my holiday damage. Just eating plenty of whole foods, veg & fruits, zero animal products, no alcohol, no caffeine. I'm also drinking BIJA cleansing tea. Is anyone else currently doing a detox diet?

I also quit smoking in September, but with a couple of slip-ups. I'm taking it seriously now. Have not had a drag since New Year's. But is it wrong to enjoy a little bowl every now and then during a cleanse?

To have a fully effective detox, I would recommend avoiding the ganj. You're trying to get rid of toxins and pollutants, so the inhalation of smoke would be counter-productive, no matter what source it's coming from.

How long are you detoxing for? I guess you could say I'm kinda doing the same thing. I had a few too many sweets and drinks during the past month so my body is craving more clean, pure, nutritious substances.

I'm going to detox for the next two weeks. I generally eat a very healthy, plant-based diet...but I really overdid the sugar & alcohol over the holidays.
