have you ever been SO sure of something, that you were scared to find out if it's really for sure, in case the thing that you were so sure of, ends up not being as sure of a thing as you first thought?

Actually what scares the crap out of me is usually finding out that what I believe is really the case. Now that fucks you good, long and hard.

holy shit ya! I totally understand what you are saying, that's one of my biggest fears! Because if you find out for sure the things you are sure about are wrong then you will have nothing to hold on to and will be left floating in a world of...disbelief....

 

Depends on the thing.
In the case of something bad: relief.
In the case of something good: reality check.
