I still haven't heard who you are, jacobfredjo. ask about the wheatgrass in the van, and Tie Dye Paul..... BTW, I saw Reed with Kimock last night.. wow.. man, oh man...I wish I could hit Vail tonite!
yeah i actually saw Reed w/Kimock and Friends in Lawrence, KS a while back. Their drummer, Rodney Holmes was really impressive. Robert Walters came along as well. Really was an amazing show, they have it on archive it is a good one. Reed is way cooler with Brian and Jason though. They just have that unmistakable sound that nobody sounds anything like. Nice to meet you drummin mama Gotta love those tribal drumming circles!
lol Rodney impressive... he's a grammy winner! Dead Kenny G's coming thru soon. I had a pic somewhare of Brian in his underwear playing a melodica with Claypool... So do you know Andrew from Lawrence or Brad Weiner?
no i cant say i do know them. Are they musicians? But the show i saw with Fred opening for Claypool, Brian came out towards the end with Les and played with them for a while. I have to admit it was one of the most impressive performances of Brian i have ever seen. (only from about a dozen though). Dead Kenny G's are Brians new project correct? i have not heard their stuff but its high on my list. I bet they kick ass.
yep Haas' project. Andrew and Brad live in Lawrence. Andrew promotes shows. Brad works at the college. Both collect our dyes. Brad's dad, weirdly enough, is our business' attorney. In Colorado.
For all the JFJO fans, KyndMusic just ran another interview with Brian, this time all about their politics and activism. It's friggin' amazing! http://www.kyndmusic.com/monthlyissues/january05/jfjo.htm
