I was randomly going through a booklet for a Wilson Philips album.. the one with "Release Me" on it, I never remember the name. This was about 3 years ago. Anyway, I came across a picture in there that the band had put in, of the three of them as probably 7-10 year old kids entirely naked (taken from the waist-up).

What I was wondering is... is there some kind of law that says it's okay to publically display your naked body as it was when you were a child, as long as you, as an adult, say it's okay? I certainly thought it was kinda strange.

There are very very few laws that say "its OK ......". The way that kiddie porn laws are applied is not particulary rational. (The mom who got in trouble for phographing her 2yr in the bath.)

    Be smart.

I define pornography as material with the purpose of sexual arousal. So for example, art isnt porn if its to show beauty or to do anything other than sexually arouse. Likewise something with no nudity or sex could be porn if its purpose was to sexually excite people, for example, a underage girl in a sugestive pose with some sort of prop wouldent involve nudity or sex, but would be porn of someone underage. in the case of the album I dont think its meant to sexually arouse, and i dont think its exploitation, as you cant really exploit yourself in any illegal way.
