which cellphone service should I go with??

Ive been told by a brother that I need to get in the now........ IM the only one in my family, other than my parents, who doesnt have a cellphone. all my friends have one...... and IM stuck in the dark ages yet..... but Im so clueless on what kind of plan to get...... Im thinking about going with t-mobile or maybe sprint....... what do yall think is the best service??? I need something with no roaming...... and I dont use the phone a whole lot...... just enough to get by....

 

Not worth it man. Cellphone companies are so shisty. I've involved myself with two, and it's worse than purchasing a car with all the fine print.

Unless I ever get a job that requires that I have one I'll never own one again.

 

I take alot of road trips, and a cellphone is quite needed, or else I spend alot on stupid pay phones.

 

I'm with Verizon Wireless...they are pretty good so far. Good reception, decent rates.

 

verizon, eww..... I cant stand any huge corporation that renames a well-known musical venue that I used to frequent

 

I use rogers. they're alright. no hidden fees or anythign so far, as long as you read the payment plan (was online) fairly thoroughly. Dunno if they're any good in teh states though... different country, different rules and policies

 

Sprint's the best deal round here - Nationwide network (no LD/roaming)/plans/talkability/customer service (requires some yelling but if you bitch at the 'Cancelation' dept they'll make it worth your while).

Plain jane/non camera Samsung phones are virtually indestructible.

Sign the shortest duration contract offered.
Long as you're under contract, they have you over a barrel.


Verizon/Nextel/ATT don't talk worth a damn.

Gotta watch T-Mobile.
Their plans will getcha if you don't study the fine print.

 

I've used various cell phone services, and so far t-mobile has been the only good one for me. I've been with them a couple of years now and likin them. Highly reccomend it.

prepay is the way to go if you dont plan on using it very much i use I-wireless. i think its a t-mobil thing

 

Ask a bunch of friends with different carirers to borrow their phones to experiment on reception.

Take them on top of a three story building and throw the fuckers off. Then buy one of the ones that still worked on the ground.

You probably should borrow from friends you don't like. Or not.
