I started a dream journal the night before last. The first night, i had no rememberance of anything because some dumbass called at six in the morning and i couldn't recall anything. Today, I can only remember a few select images. Am I on the right track?

hummm... I have a dream journal two... I write down maybe 3-7 dreams every morning... the trick is, when you wake up.. DO NOT MOVE, stay calm. and just breath, relax. you will remember a few dreams for sure that way... (I dunno why, but when you make sudden movements when you wake in the middle of the night, you wont be able to come back to the dream you were doing before that, but if you wait patiently to fall bask asleep, chances are that your dream is going to continue... In other words, when you wake up in the morning, dont move, stay calm, your astral body (which is the one you have when you dream) will be calm, and you'll have access to what it has seen.

If you want to remember your dreams too... before sleeping, in your bed, meditate sort of, relax... take deep breaths, empty your mind. when your mind is empty, tell yourself ... "I want to remember my dreams" or anything that can get into your subconscious ... same thing if you want to lucid dream...
Anyways good luck with that journal.

I've a dream journal that I write in whenever I remember my dreams... It's odd looking at a dream I had a month ago and remember what was going on in my life, which is why I likely had that particular dream, although at the time it made little sense.
