dylan provided inspiration for most rock bands in the 70s.

Begonias is a hunter/ Garcia. that would be the Dead.

for the record, Dylan and the Dead did do SB at some point on that tour. exact date escapes me.

and it is MASTERS of war, and I say heck yeah. THis week's fave, although a frind knocked off Don't think Twice, It's all Right's opening measures and got that ear-worming on me!

Now, Chuck n Duck (god, that sounds like a really bad restaurant bar) find a new thing to bitch about.

Ah, baby blue, beautiful song. My favourite Dylan song would have to be "Spanish Harlem Incident".

when it comes to some artist its realy hard to choose a favorite, dylan is like that. times they are a changin is kinda the quintisentiel dylan for me i guess.
when i was pretty young me and a bro went from la la land to ohio in a bug with no radio and only dylans 'i dont want to work on maggies farm' and janis's bobby mcgee on 8 track, by the time we finaly got there i was so sick of dylan i couldnt listen to him for months, but now whenever i hear that track i cant help but smile

Thank you...I come into these forums, and yes I am fairly new, but I joined because I thought I would have very intellectual conversations with people of my own kind, leaving the negativity & violence of this shitty little world we live in behind me for an hour a day, but find only petty arguing, and people getting tore down constantly! It makes me very sad.
    Anyone like Leon Russel, here?

Oh, by the way my favorite Bob Dylan songs are Highway 61 Revisited, Tombstone Blues, Hrrican, Just like a Woman(which so much reminds of my best friend, she's a stripper, and is so sad deep inside, yet plays so happy on the outside), Ballad of a Thin Man, and on & on. I really like Sweet Jane also!

WAYYYY to tough to narrow it down, Dylan is a complete force of nature with his music, every song the man has recorded is brilliant, there is no exception. If i had to narrow it down though, I think Hurricane tell's an amazing story, but my favorite is Masters of War. I get chills just thinking about that song.

My favourites keep changing! A few weeks back it was Highway 61 Revisited, but this week Id say it was more With God On Our Side. Strange really because a few months back I didnt like either of these songs and am not a fan of religious songs.
