    Who's going?

Took me awhile to decide, but I've come this far with the band, might as well join them in their last hurrah before their hiatus. First, this is Ed McGee's last show with the band before embarking in a new direction with the band "One Under". I became a fan listening to Hookah with former singer/guitarist/co-founder John Mullins. However, I started seeing them live after he was replaced with Ed. He definately took the band in a new and debateable "better" direction.
Second, there are rumors I'd rather not discuss that this may be the last show as "Ekoostik Hookah". It seems my favorite band may be no more. Granted, they don't even know what's going to happen. We've been assured that they will all still play in whatever re-incarnation they decide upon. But I've spent too much time & money to miss this 3 set show blow-out.

So, if you're in the area, or even if you're not, this is the show to see. Ya' never know what's happening after this. Hope to see you there :)

(For any official info from the band, be sure to check out http://www.ekoostik.com)

    Peace

Their hiatus is only a few months, right?

They must really love the road.

Yeah, I don't love them. I think they're okay. But the last few times I have seen them, I have not been impressed. I have never been to the ledges, i should check it out.

to be honest, im glad ed is leaving, i stopped seeing them because of him. i didnt mind them getting rid of mullins, but i think replacing him with ed was kinda insulting. they could replace him with anyone and i would be happy.

and yes, the ledges rock. thats my home, been goin there since 92. not this year though.

I wish I could be there - I'm very excited to see Assembly of Dust in Boston, far and away my favorite act to see these days, but if I had my druthers, I would want to be there for Ed's last show with hookah. From the outside looking in, its hard to understand a break up of song writing marriage like what's going on with Ed and Dave. Two totally different song writers, but when paired together for a show, its a rare thing to see two people compliment each other so well.

I wish I could go. It would be my first time seeing Hookah, and possibly last... But its too far away and not too sure if the rents would let me go, my heart will be at the show though...

Me and 2 friends were planning on going... but we decided to spend the $150 we would have spent on the concert, on more, uhhh, diverse interests. 6/8th's of an oz of those interests.
