Oh man, I just saw this movie last night, and it was AMAZING. All the awesome one-liners of Bruce Campbell, mixed with the low-budget type action from Army of darkness. Anyone who is anyone should see this movie, about Elvis (who isn't dead) living in a retirement home, hanging out with JFK(who isn't dead), and they band together with more epic scenes than any other movie when they have to battle a 5,000 year old mummy! Outstanding. Rent this tonight!
I heard a radio interview about it like a year ago. They interviewed Don Coscarelli, the director or writer or whatever -- he did the Phantasm movies -- he's a genius!! Then I forgot all about it; it never was in any theater I heard of around here. I had no idea it's already on DVD!! Now I have to get it, of course! Blue skies, -Jeffrey
Bruce Campbell is an amazing actor, but I think him and Tom Savini (From the Dead movies, he acted and did special effects) should team up, and beat the hell out of zombies in a movie called "Badass", because they are both so badass.
I saw it and loved it. Bruce Campbell is a pisser. Having Ossie Davis as JFK was pure genious. It's a fun movie to watch.
Savini directed the 1990 remake of "Night of the Living Dead"! He seems like a really cool guy. Just the other night I was watching that movie and then watched the interview with him and others from the film. That redhead chick was HOT! Blue skies, -Jeffrey
