My husband and I are traveling (work related) and this may be the first place we are assigned to for about 13 weeks before we move on. I lived in Michigan as a baby and that was about 27/28 years ago so I don't remember much about it. My Dad said it's really nice there. Anyone live there or been there or anywhere close? Please share.
I've lived in Michigan basically my entire life...except for a three month stint in FL... TC is a really nice area. The west side of Michigan is much more tranquil than the S.E. part, in which I live. I enjoy it up there...as far as the festival or music scene, I haven't really spent enough time up there to tell ya, but TC is beautiful! Good luck!
Thanks for getting back to me however we aren't getting sent there now...probably to Oakland instead which is fine. We wanted to go to San Francisco first but I guess Oakland is close enough...different from Traverse City though! That's the beauty of this traveling gig...who knows what places we'll get to see!
