Hey there. I'm P, and I'm oh-so new. This whole "hippie" thing is still such a trip for me. I was so anti-hippie [as so many in my bullshit "subculture" are] until I started going to festivals and encountered this wonderful familial [and mind-expanding] atmosphere. What can I say? You guys converted me. Now I'm stuck as some sort of weird blend of piercings, dyed hair, death metal, punk rock, apron skirts, and general goodwill. It's weird, I tell you. And I'm facing the point in my life where I have to get serious about a job and what I want to do with my life. However, everything about my personality and my external appearance tend to conflict with my job direction. I have faith in my ability to reconcile it all, though. Long introduction. Oops. So, hi!

Howdy! Well, I ain;t new at this hippie stuff at all, being as I was a hippie at 10 years old and I'm 47 now, he he. But this is a very open, nurturing, gentle and supportive community in general. The permissive nature of Hippiedom means you must be aware, street smart and fairly careful about who you trust. But the payback is freedom from a purityrannical conformist death culture society.
