I know almost no one here cares about Nine Inch Nails, and if you don't, then please don't tell me about it like people felt compelled to before - i don't care to hear it, but anyway.....

Before With Teeth was released, I, like so many others, was trying to downloads the songs in an effort to get an early listen. I ended up downloading a series of instrumental tracks by the same names as the new tracks. I was a little confused though cause it sounded like it could be Nine Inch Nails, but there wasn't much to it. Of course, it ended up not being the new music, which I assume was an attempt to combat illegal downloads and boost sales. Very clever. But now I'm left with these tracks, and I listen to them and they sound like Nails.....like it was extra stuff Trent did maybe?

Has anyone heard anything about anything like this?

The songs had the same names as the new album - only, the line begins to blur.....

But they were all abstract/instrumental/noise tracks in the style of NIN.....

manson has done that stuff to, and i don't know what that is. i was trying to get early downloads of Grotesque Burlesque....and they were just these really odd tracks...that sounded like manson, but never turned into a song and i was wondering the same thing as you....
