    Is this a free speech site? I honestly begin to wonder with all these people getting banned. For what? Having an opinion that is not so called "hippy". What i have seen so far is that this site is anti free speech. Like why has Maverick been banned? Skip you you call yourself a believer in the freedom of speech. But what i have seen you proven yourself as a hypocrite. Please allow this site to be a true free speech site. Please do not run this site like a dictatorship. Or i'll have to make a phone call to my good friend and golfing buddy George W. Bush.

    Yeah, why was Maverick banned anyway? I mean, you can argue that West Point and Danip (at least I think Danip was banned, I know WP was) kind of had it coming, but Maverick never did anything wrong or flamed anybody. From what I saw he always backed up his arguments and never told anybody off, so what gives?

    Hunh, West Point was banned? I never thought he was offensive, some of his banter was entertaining. Danip was a bona fide jackass.

    After a quick check of the Memberlist, neither West Point or Danip is to be found. I guess they were banned. Almost like they never existed, that all traces of them were disposed of after having been removed from the system.......

    Yeah, anyone who disagrees with Skip should be banned and censored for the sake of Hipforums.

    And as it turns out, Maverick was banned for posting that long list of things you "might be a liberal" for doing (the thread was deleted, it didn't come up on a search). It was "plagiarism" supposedly. Come on, plagiarism? He even admitted when asked that it wasn't his work, that he got if from another site. He wasn't passing it off as his own work (which is what plagiarism really is). I don't think it's right, but whatever.

    Maverick was banned for PLAGIARISM.

    Many of the "others" who were banned were actually just one person using many aliases after the first one was banned. So it looks like a lot of people were banned, when it was only one or two.

    BTW, I will remind all of you that DISCUSSING the banned is not allowed and will likely get those who continue to do it banned too.

    As you can see here, this thread is OFF THE TOPIC of this forum and a forum guideline violation in itself. This is the kind of shit we refuse to put up with.

    We don't need to defend our bans. Don't like it, find another site.

    I won't give any more warnings.

    As a matter of fact, HE NEVER DID admit to stealing that work and passing it off as his own. At least NOT ON THIS WEBSITE. People were praising him for his writing and he never once denied it was his & seemed to relish it.

    That is why he was banned. He is a student & should know better.
