Damn, I'm waiting for my dad to come pick me up to drive me to my friend's house cause she can't pick me up. Christ, he takes forever. Then he's gonna get here and make some coffee and take a piss and walk the fucking dog. LET GO ALREADY! Waiting for a ride sucks.

If you have the money to pay for the car (including insurance, gas, maintenance, etc.), then can they really do anything to stop you? I am generally in favor of respecting your parents' wishes, but there comes a point when they are just being silly.

If you have the money, you could buy it. You can't sign a lease or anything, but you can buy one flat out.

My dad's an ass like that too. He shouldn't complain if he always moves to towns where there's no public transportation/too steep/far to ride a bike (which I can't ride/afford anyway)/etc.etc. :p

The worst is when you have things to stay after school for, and then your parents don't come get you on time so you wait, and walk around the school trying to find them thinking maybe they're at the other entrance, and then you try to call them, but by then they HAVE left so you can't get a hold of them, or maybe they just aren't at the phone, and then when they finally do come they get mad at you because they're sure you said you'd be waiting somewhere else and because you've wasted phone calls now and aaaaaaaaaaahhhh.

I'm sure it's just as much of a hassle to drive out to that horrid place to pick me up, though. I wouldn't enjoy it.

Anyway, hopefull by noon tomorrow I'll be able to drive myself. Please.

Yeh its dose. i would normaly have to wait insane ammounts of time or alot of times was just forgotten about (thats allways a fun one)

so i got use to walking :)
it can be nice and is alot cheaper then a car and youl be in a decent shape

And then when you grow older and your younger siblings keep asking you for rides to hear and there you can say, Back in my day i walked bleh bleh..
