   Is there a way to keep the edges of your pieces from fraying when you are sewing them with a satin stitch, or do you just not worry about it?

   I use heat and bond lite when I do appliques and since I've started using it I've not really had a problem with fraying. If I do have some fray I trim it with applique scissors.
