Best stoner/hippie movie

hmm... favorite stoner/hippy movie.....hmm......ALICE IN WONDERLAND!!! that movie's the trippiest thing in the WORLD! other than that, i'd have to say anything by Cheech and Chong

I am watching Dazed and Confused for the first time. I'm at the part where school let out for the summer, so far the movie has been accurate as far as the attitude was of the day, pretty much everyone getting along, but it sure wasn't as easy or as compatible as Hollywood made it seem. Groups weren't as tolerant of each other as portrayed, but there was an sense that things could be worked out.

 

Bang, Bang, Bang, what it's all about, man.

 

Alcohol drenched.

 

Where battles take place.

 

A Ford Maverick, my Aunt drove one. I had a 65 mustang in 78, brand new retreads, 6 cyl, 3 or 4 on the floor. Moved like the wind.

 

Pretty much an advocasy of alcohol, along with.

 

In the midst of this movie I realized how important things are to me.

 

Hippiewise, I thought; This Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad world; was great. Especilly hillarious for me were the close up shots of that guy that looked like Jethro Bodine that was cryin for his MaMa. I thought I was going to pee my pants.

 

It's a great movie, maybe I'm preaching to the chior here, but it leaves the ending up to the viewer; better than any movie I've seen.

 

i DEFFINITLY think it has got to be tommy-the who... that is the best movie to watch when your stoned... oh and Napolen Dynamite that shit is kinda stupid but when your high its funny as hell!!

 

yes i do agree with you corrine,

but i also think fear and loathing would be a good one too because of all the visuals in it.

 

my vote goes to Fear and Loathing as well

 

Scrapple is by far the best
