since i don't want to get anything perminent. i was thinking about getting henna tattoos instead. you know. but i was wondering if anyone actuallyhad anyand would have imput on them. i wanted to get maybe awhole sleeve. but i'm still thinking about images to use
doesnt it only last like two weeks or so? i dont see the big deal on what you get then. when i get married, i want to have henna tattoos on my feet instead of shoes
Good luck with it! I love henna. But you do realize you can't touch your arm for like an hour or else it will smuge, that's the hardest part.
henna tattoo's can last a few weks if you take care of them the right way. You have to leave it for a few hours, reapply then henna a lot, and the conditions which henna adhears to the skin best are humid heat. if you keep in moisturized well that will help it last longer too. If you're going for something traditional then your artist can work their way down your arm in some really pretty paterns. look around at differant traditional henna art. If you want a more tattoo look then jost look around for some that you like. just make sure its not multi color because henna is only a deep brown color or orange when you first put it on. WATCH OUT FOR BLACK HENNA it's very harmful and can cause not only perminate scaring but it can also poision you. before you get any henna done ask a lot of questions the only ingrediance that should be in the mixture are henna, coffee, tea, fruit. no hair dye, peroxide or "magic stones" but have fun! the point of henna is that it's not perminate and you can play with it
