Yeah it makes sense. And, I must say, it's tripped the fuck out. What about this: What if Christmas was in the summer time? Would we still have the same feelings about it? What would the christmas clothing look like? We would wear christmas tank-tops and christmas shorts with christmas sandals and christmas flip-flops. We would have christmas heat-waves instead of christmas snow-storms. Jesus may have died as a baby from heat-stroke. It's not as trippy as your idea, but I was thinking about it the other day. I just found it to be a rather strange thought.

there are places on earth where the day lasts half a year. you wouldnt adapt your sleep cycle to every 900 hours, youd just adapt to waking and sleeping regardless of the sun. probably. if the earth rotated around the sun slower, its orbit would change, and so would gravity, lunar orbit, magnetic fields prolly, temperature, solar radiation, water levels;these things would have reprocussions that woudl jsut keep going. but the idea is alright
Hey man, u know wat i live in new zealand, and guess what christmas is in summer time, but santa still dresses the same and the feelings about christmas are sort of the same, except we dont expect it to snow, lol, well it never snows here!
yeh dude come to australia. at christmas time, people wear tank tops, shorts, sandals and flipflops. we have heat waves too! and as a special treat, every summer there is a riot somewhere amongst underprivelaged delinquent derelict societies
